Why Conversation?
Often, strong emphasis is put on writing and reading when we learn a language, especially as adults learning a second language in a school-like setting. How are learners ever going to be able to join in a conversation with somebody, or use a new language in the workplace, or whatever it is they want to use the language for, without practicing speaking that language?
That’s why a place like this is so important! Comhrá le Chéile gives learners and fluent speakers alike the chance to practice their Irish, out loud and live, with other speakers no matter where they are in the world.
